How does the warranty check on a video call work?

After you claim the warranty, our team checks the dip with you on a video call. You hold a thread tight across the mattress and stand a scale in the dip, and we read how deep it is. A bottle half full of water, laid on its side across the dip, backs up the reading.
A thread, a scale and a bottle of water. That is all you need.
Keep these ready
- A bare mattressSheets, protector and pillows off.
- A thread, a scale, a bottleThe thread long enough to cross the mattress. The bottle half full of water.
- Your phoneFor the video call. One more person helps.
The check, step by step
Hold a thread tightFrom one edge of the mattress to the other, across the dip.
Stand a scale in the dipWhere it looks deepest. Don't press it in: one finger behind it, just to hold it up.
We read the gapFrom the thread down to the mattress, on the scale. This is the main test.
Lay the bottle across the dipHalf full of water, on its side. We note how much the water line tilts. Every surface tilts it a little.
What the result means
- Up to 1 inchA normal body impression. Why it happens.
- More than 1 inchCovered by the 10‑year warranty. What you get.
One part softer than the rest?
That can't be checked on a video call. We test it at our factory. How the factory check works.

Questions people ask
How do you check a mattress sag on a video call?
You hold a thread tight across the mattress and stand a scale in the dip. We read the gap between the thread and the mattress on the scale. A bottle half full of water, laid on its side across the dip, backs up the reading.
Should I press the scale into the mattress?
No. Stand it in the dip and keep one finger behind it, only to hold it up. Pressing it in makes the dip look deeper than it is.
Why do you use a bottle of water?
Laid on its side across the dip, the bottle tilts with the mattress while the water line stays level. That shows how much the surface tilts. Every surface tilts it a little, so we note how much. It backs up the thread and scale test.
How deep does a dip have to be for the warranty?
More than 1 inch, measured with nothing on the bed. Up to 1 inch is a normal body impression.
What if one side of my mattress is softer than the other?
That needs a check at our factory, not a video call. Here is how it works.
