What’s Not Covered Under Warranty
Just like most personal-use items, mattresses go through natural ageing. Here’s what we don’t cover under our warranty—because they fall under normal wear, misuse, or external factors outside our control.
1. Outer Cover and Zipper
The outer fabric and zipper may experience wear over time—that’s natural. These components aren’t part of the structural mattress core, so they aren’t covered under warranty.
2. Body Impressions
Foam naturally adapts to your body over time, just like a favourite pair of shoes. Impressions up to 1 inch are considered normal. Learn more about body impressions.
3. Liquid Spills or Bedwetting
Any damage caused by water, juice, tea—or any other spillage—isn’t covered. Protect your mattress with a Sunday Mattress Protector to avoid surprises.
4. Prolonged Exposure to Sunlight
Mattresses aren’t meant to sunbathe. Damage from direct, prolonged sunlight—like placing your mattress in open areas—voids the warranty. Indirect daylight inside your room is perfectly fine.
5. Unverifiable Issues
Some things just can’t be measured—like back pain. Since discomfort can stem from many causes, it isn’t considered a defect. That’s exactly why we offer our 100 Nights Trial—so you can be sure it’s right for you.
