How to wake up Happy

Starting the day on a good note sets the tone for the rest of the day. Hence after a good night’s sleep it is important to have a morning regime that pumps you up and ensures you are at your most positive, raring to go best.

Law of Attraction in-fact emphasises on keeping your mood upbeat especially in the morning to attract a good, successful day. It is all about drawing the same vibration of energy as you are emitting. A happy, positive, productive you will most often resonate and bring you joy, well being and rewards.

A lot of people across cultures like to start the day praying or chanting what would bring them peace and patience to see them through the day. Early morning is also the most sacred time to feel one with the divine and feel close to nature as you take in the first rays of the sun that in return energizes you.

Here is how to feel good in the morning-

Think happy thoughts: Count your blessings first thing in the morning, it will help you be grateful for another day and sweat less about the little things. A lot of A-listers such as Oprah Winfrey and Arianna Huffington start their day by just thanking God and the universe in the morning. Spiritual masters claim by feeling grateful, we receive even more and stay blessed. You could also say affirmations such as “My life is wonderful” as our brain reacts to auto suggestions very well. Also, ensure you slept the night before without ending the day with a fight as that would invariably spoil the next morning . Start the day on a pleasant note; a little effort would go a long way in translating into a good day.

Make a cozy Bed: Remember going to sleep in a well made, comfortable bed will ensure you feel extra secure and wake up smiling. Make sure your mattress and pillow are of good quality and your bedding is fresh. Change your bed linen often and get prints and colours of your choice. After all it is your bed, go all out to ensure it gives you the necessary comfort and sleep required for good night and a refreshed rise.

Play uplifting music: While you put your coffee or tea on the gas, consider playing some breezy upbeat tune. It is amazing how music helps us shift our energy and take us to a positive zone. You could listen to faith filled music or any instrumental music with perhaps nature sounds moving to something peppy you’d feel like singing along to. You could avoid your gadgets until needed and just soak in the morning vibe.

Plan your morning: Organise your next day’s chores at night so you are not panicking the next morning. You could get your clothes ready and plan the morning schedule around your activities so you are not rushed and are well prepared. A calm you will ensure you can handle the rest of the day with confidence. Carpe Diem!
